Spring sale - new yearling sale for 2025!

For the first time in many years, Koanui will be having a Spring Yearling Bull Sale. 30 premium bulls for Heifer Mating will be sold at an on-farm auction.

The Yearling Sale will be held at 12pm, Friday 26 September at ‘The Sale Shed’ 811 Maraetotara Road, Havelock North.

We are very proud of the quality and type of these bulls. There are bulls within this offering that have the likelihood of becoming top herd sires, as with any yearling, their potential is yet to be expressed.

Dairy bulls available

As usual, a selection of high-performing dairy bulls are available by private treaty sale. Two-year-old and yearling bulls that work for your herd objectives are available.

Te Kura Farm is now managed by Henry James and although he is new to the role, he is a clever and approachable person in whom we have utmost confidence. 

Dean has moved to the South Island to be with family and support our farm near Rangiora. He is still available on his old phone number to discuss any queries and between him and Henry we feel there will be a smooth transition. Dean may also assist by travelling up to Te Kura at bull selling time if needed.
