Koanui on-farm bull sale: Thursday, 21 May 2026
We are excited to announce a change to the date of our rising two-year bull sale at Koanui. Please save the date!

1:00pm at “The Sale Shed”
839 Maraetotara Road,
Havelock North.
This is three weeks earlier than our usual sale date. The bulls will be ready as usual, and so will we! We’ve brought forward the sale so that we have more time to reset the farm and the team in preparation for calving in July.
You are more than welcome to visit at any time prior to the sale or come on that day and have a good look. The on-farm auction will sale starts at 1:00pm as usual with bulls available for viewing from 10:30am.
Lunch will be available before the sale and refreshments afterwards as usual.

The bulls are currently being assessed and sale selection is underway so keep an eye out for photos and further details of the line up.

Koanui Diamond
Diamond is “Mister Consistent” across all traits. He is a cornerstone herd sire in the Koanui programme. He is the sire of the top priced yearling bull in the Koanui 2025 yearling sale, Koanui Diamond 240342, sold to Maranui. A high Indexing bull, Diamond is in the top 5% of the breed for Beef Heifer $ Index and top 10% for Dairy Beef Index.
